The Air Company Weekly Update
The Air Company Updates
Site Traffic Insights
- Daily Clicks: We average approximately 10-16 clicks per day. We are adding many new pages to the site and recovering the lost traffic we saw in late May. Everything we do today impacts 6-8 weeks down the road.
- 4x growth in organic traffic from the beginning of the year
- Blog Traffic: Some click activity is naturally driven by blog traffic.
- Focus: Adding to the service areas and localized service will drive traffic in various cities.
- Form Submissions: Many commercial and wine cellar submissions. Our goal now is building content around HVAC repair, installation, maintenance & inspection. Focus is also turning to winter oriented services
Biggest Movers This Week
- Of our 123 tracked keywords, 45 have increased in SERP position.
- Non-Blog Traffic Growth: Non-blog traffic has increased significantly. We focus on pushing transactional pages and improving traffic in our service areas.
- Notable: We are starting to rank for nearly every targeted service area. Landing on the first page will not happen rapidly, but ranking in these areas shows major signs of progress.
- Action Items: We are focusing heavily on the localized pages. We currently do not have many localized pages, but the pages we have built are progressing nicely. Our next action item is to complete the remainder.
Content Updates
We should continue developing blog ideas based on keyword research and competitor analysis and building out a content calendar for regular blogs. This will increase the site's position as a trusted, authoritative resource within the industry.
Focusing on localized landing pages has proven effective due to high search volumes in our service areas. In the upcoming weeks, we'll audit these landing pages to ensure the targeted keywords align with search intent and that transactional keywords are correctly placed. We will review these together periodically.
Final Thoughts
- Site Traffic: We are pleased with the reaction to our last round of changes in rankings. However, we want to see substantial growth in the subsequent phases of our project.
- Site Structure: The current significant changes include overhauling the service areas. During this process, we will audit transactional pages for accuracy in keyword intent.
- Nav Bar: No significant changes.
- SEO: We've updated many pages' meta tags and titles to align more closely with user intent and local SEO. The focus is heavily on local SEO. We want to dominate our market as closely as possible.
