  • There are 4 KWs in the top 11-20 positions

Organic Traffic

From October of 2023 to the beginning of February 2024, there was zero organic traffic on this site. There was a spike in traffic March 9, likely due to the overhaul changes that are represented by the green dots on the graph. The highest peak of traffic was on April 1st with 9 visitors. Organic traffic has fluctuated greatly since then, but is currently sitting at 0 visitors.

Domain Rating

  • You have a DR of 2.3
  • Your competitor Franchise Direct has a DR of 70
  • Your DR is considered low, which can negatively impact your site's visibility and authority in search engines. A low DR often means that the site has few high-quality backlinks, which can limit its ability to rank well in search results, reduce organic traffic, and make it harder to compete with other sites in your industry.
  • Your site has 8 backlinks, while your competitor has 36.6k, putting you at a major disadvantage in terms of SEO and visibility.

Headings

The H1 on the homepage is "Find your best franchises." It's a good thing that the site only has one H1, but it should be more descriptive. Customers won't really know what your website is for based on this alone. Here is number of headings on the homepage:

  • H1 - 1
  • H2 - 33
  • H4 - 3
  • H5 - 8

In a well-structured website, heading levels should typically decrease in quantity as they move down the hierarchy to maintain a logical flow. Ideally, there should not be more H5s than H3s because this breaks the natural progression of heading levels. With H3 headings representing broader subtopics and H4 or H5 headings providing more specific details, having more H5s than H3s could confuse both users and search engines by creating an imbalanced structure that may imply less logical content organization.

Word Count

The word count on all of the main pages is relatively low.

The site needs more words on each page to further elaborate what their business is. It is a little confusing right now and could be easier to understand if there was more information about the business throughout the site.

Your Red Brick Score

How We Score You

Collectively, the RedBrick team decided on six categories that we think contribute the most to a site's overall SEO. We chose domain rating, keywords, technical SEO health score, organic traffic, user experience, and page speed.

We agreed that the domain rating and the organic traffic contribute the most to a site's SEO, so we weighted those at 30%. We allocated 10% to each of the other four categories, adding up to a total of 100%.

Domain Rating

Domain Rating (DR) measures the strength of a website's backlink profile on a scale from 0 to 100. The score is based on both the quantity and quality of the websites linking back to a given domain.

Organic Traffic

In SEO, "organic traffic" refers to the visitors that come to a website through unpaid search results on search engines like Google or Bing. These visitors find the website by typing in queries that match content on the site, without any paid advertising involved.

Keywords

In SEO, keywords are specific words or phrases that people type into search engines to find content or information. They represent the main topics or ideas that define what a piece of content is about, and they help search engines understand and categorize the content so it can appear in relevant search results.

Page Speed

"Page speed" refers to how quickly a web page's content loads and becomes accessible to users.

Technical SEO Health Score

This score, shown as a percentage (0-100%), reflects how well a site is optimized in terms of technical SEO aspects, such as crawlability, site structure, and performance. The Health Score is calculated based on the number and severity of SEO issues found on the site.

User Experience

User Experience (UX) refers to how fast and how easily a user is able to achieve his/her goal on a site.
